Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Thursday, 10 April 1873

Sheriff Camplin and C. S. Wesner started south Tuesday morning in charge of William R. Albright, who is charged with the murder of John Wood on the 13th day of January, 1871, at Carroll County in the state of Georgia. Albright came to Boone County in the early part of the year 1872 and has since resided here. It is said he has a wife and two children in Georgia, though he married a young girl at Thorntown or in that neighborhood since he came here. He was arrested on last Thursday by Deputy Sheriff Ed Reynolds and Ira Perkins on a requisition from the Governor of Georgia and a copy of the indictment found by the grand jury of Carroll County, Georgia.—Lebanon Patriot
